He was ordained a Vocational Deacon by Bishop Smith, Diocese of Arizona, in January 2008, after completing a 2-yr Diocesan Diaconate candidate training program.  Jack’s ministries at GSH and the Diocese include:  EFM Mentor, Outreach Committee, African mission projects, Diocesan Border Issues Program Group, Heart-to-Heart ministries, GSH Men’s Group, pastoral care, liturgical assistance, Valley Interfaith Project, Cursillo, and assistance with GSH adult Christian Ed and Children’s Chapel programs.  He has been an Episcopalian all his life and has served in almost every role the church has to offer in several parishes and Dioceses. Suh Eun Kyung, ASU School of Music, TA

Eunkyung Suh is a native of South Korea and her interest in Music began at an early age. While in Korea, she studied composition, organ and piano, and was also a member of the Hand bell choir and the Bach Choir. Since the time she was young, she had the role of Church Pianist/Organist, and the music and church became a part of her life quite naturally. She has always considered the church to be her second home. As a church musician with fifteen years experience, she has extensive training and experience on the organ, piano, carillon, Harpsichord and as a conductor. In addition to music she has been active as a community volunteer, and she would be interested in helping in the ministry of the church in whatever ways seem appropriate.

As a committed Christian she has a deep interest in furthering the spiritual growth of the ensembles and ministry areas that she leads.

She earned her B.A degree in Church music and Organ Performance from Keimyung University in Korea. She holds a Master of Arts degree in University of Portland and studied church music and organ/carillon from University of Kansas. Currently, Eunkyung is a DMA student in Organ Performance at ASU.
